This is a steel truncheon with a "friction" lock and is very simple. The retractable bodies are designed to fit together and remain locked without the use of special internal mechanisms. This is the principle of the old telescopic radio antennas: in the case of the truncheon, however, when it is opened forcefully the elements remain firmly locked. To close it, you need to hit its tip perpendicular to the ground, as indicated in the instructions. See the instructions and the demonstration video.

Opening and closing video

The stick opens in a few moments with a quick movement of the wrist. The quick opening system ensures a good tightening of the stick, to prevent it from accidentally closing during use.

• Hold the stick firmly
• Quickly move the stick with your wrist to eject the telescopic elements
• The stick is now locked

To close the truncheon, forcefully strike the tip of the stick perpendicularly against the floor or a hard surface.

• Hold the stick perpendicular to the ground
• Hit the ground with the tip with a sharp, precise blow
• The stick is now closed

Difficult to close?The closure may seem difficult but its tightening ensures that the stick does not accidentally close during use. Slam it more forcefully perpendicular to the floor, with a decisive movement. It only takes a short time to learn to perform the correct closing maneuver.
