Self-defense

In Italy, personal defense (self-defense) is regulated by Article 52 of the Penal Code, which allows you to react to an aggression with means proportionate to the threat. It is lawful to defend oneself, even causing damage to the aggressor, as long as the reaction is adequate and necessary, especially in situations where you cannot hope for outside help. Telescopic batons are very popular self-defense tools. In Italy, they can be purchased and owned without the need for licenses or permits, but they must be kept at home. Carrying them outside the home is prohibited. Check the regulations in your country if you are outside of Italy.

Hesago retractable batons for sport and personal defense are differentiated by materials and type of tightening: choose Hesago Stick (friction batons) for sturdiness and savings or Hesago XMatic for lightness and practicality of the semi-automatic assisted closing.
